BBAW Day 4: Favorite Books

Day 4: Favorite Books

Today's question is: What book did you discover only because you read about it on a book blog and then you realized you couldn’t live without it! And then you read it and you loved it so hard! Tell us about it and about the blogger (or bloggers!) that introduced the book to you!

While thinking about my answer to this question, I realized one of my favorite books (which came out in the last few years)that I recommend to everyone....I haven't even done a review on!! I know I must have seen it mentioned on a blog, but I don't remember which one. So, I will just say thanks to all my fellow book bloggers out there for all your reviews and suggestions. You have made my TBR pile so big it will take a long time to get through them all!!!

The book that is my favorite is: The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield...

I know this one has been around a while..but if you haven't read it..you should!!

Have a great day everyone!!

I could never remember all the books I've read because of blogs.

Glad you enjoyed the book. It's one I saw around for so long, but when I got to it, it disappointed me.Which is one thing that always is a let down for me. You see so many bloggers read and enjoy it, then it's a let down for you. Still one of my favourite covers on a book I've seen.

When I started reading African novels (novels written by Africans) I also began to blog about them. I read, review and blog. So a fellow blogger in her comment told me about 'Half of a Yellow Sun' and in a month or two I got a copy and it was fantastic. You can read my review on my blog. It is a superb book by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I have gone ahead to read two more of her books: Purple Hibiscus and her latest The Thing Around Your Neck. Both have been reviewed on my blog.

I liked The Thirteenth Tale too! That was one I listened to on Audible. I've been fortunate to learn about a lot of books on blogs!
